Will is the founding student member of the UMBC Health Data Lab and a full-time second year student in UMBC’s Masters in Information Systems program. Before entering health information technology (HIT), Will was a practicing clinical social worker with experience in numerous healthcare settings, from outpatient oncology to inpatient hospitals to hospice care. In addition to his clinical pursuits, Will participated in the planning and implementation of EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while working at Mercy Medical Center. In addition to HIT, Will is focusing his studies on human centered computing (HCC).
