Hello! My name is Sachin and I am a graduate student at UMBC, studying Information Systems with a specialization in data science. Recently, I completed my undergraduate degree in Information Systems at UMBC and am excited to continue my journey at UMBC. Previously, I did undergraduate research as a data scholar developing a full-stack educational website for data science students. The website is designed to teach data visualizations to data science students and provide them feedback in order to help students better identify trends and patterns in data. For my current research project, I am working with Professor Ian Stockwell to deploy predictive machine learning models designed to address Medicaid recipients vulnerable to health disparities. Along with the tools I have currently learned (ONNX, Python scripting), I am excited to grow alongside this project as I continue to pursue data science as my field of interest.
