I’m an undergraduate student in Information Systems at UMBC and a research intern at the Health Data Lab. I became interested in the intersection of technology and public health through my work with eCloudera LLC, where I helped develop a health management system used to support care in several communities across eastern Nigeria. That experience showed me how thoughtfully designed systems can make a meaningful impact in underserved areas. Now, I’m focused on exploring how cloud-based tools and predictive analytics can support better health outcomes. I’m grateful to be working under the mentorship of Dr. Stockwell as part of an NIH-funded project focused on building solutions that are secure, scalable, and grounded in real-world impact. I believe that when technology is used with the right intention and empathy, it becomes an essential tool for creating lasting change.
